Every summer, the Fort Armstrong Folk Festival brings our neighbors down to Kittanning’s Riverfront Park for four days of music, artisans, and small town pride. This year marked the festival’s 55th anniversary, and Shafer’s Heating & Air Conditioning was proud to stand behind one of its most refreshing traditions: the Kittanning Rotary Club’s lemonade stand.
At Shafer’s, we believe in the kind of craftsmanship that comes from caring about the people around you. That same mindset extends to how we show up for our community, and this year we were glad to lend our support to the Rotary Club’s booth. Pouring cups and chatting with festival goers all weekend were Shafer’s team members Brooke Fatta and Chelsea Febinger, who is also a proud member of the Kittanning Rotary Club.
The lemonade stand is more than a sweet treat on a hot August afternoon. Every glass sold helps fund the projects the Rotary Club takes on throughout Armstrong County, from local scholarships to community improvement efforts. It’s a simple idea with a real impact, and it reflects the same values we bring to our work every day: quality, consistency, and a genuine investment in the neighborhoods we serve.
